35's or 37's need help
I was wandering if i would be able to run 37's with a 3' body, tb crank and add-a-leaf? if not i will just replace the 35's but i would like to get 37's if possible. Truck is a 2005 ram 1500 gearing in 3.92

even if you could fit them, it would be smart to go with 35s so that you actually have some articulation and dont kill your mpgs

In my personal opinion, the 37's I think will rub somewhere. It won't give you much room for articulation at all. Now, if you had a good suspension lift with the body lift, yeah, go with it. I don't think you would be happy with what you got if you put 37's on right now. Just my opinion.

37s will looked stuff, like something a kid that doesn't know any better would do. |
thats what i was thinking i just wanted to get some other opinions to see my other options. Now with the 35's what would be a good width? 12.5, 13, 14" wide?

The others are too wide and you'll be forced to run spacers, not to mention the poor street manners of those width tires. |
yep unless you have at least 6" suspension lift, nothing more than 35's. with that combo, 35x12.50 is the only way to go

12.5 would be nice, 13.5 is wide for a 35", but i like the wide look...

35x12.5 is the max i would do with stock gears...the bigger you go the more of a dog you will have

ok now i got the size and width combo thanks to all of your help :) i had 20" rims with 35" nitto mudd grapplers but as of today i no longer have them i traded them up for moto metals and 35's. The tires new to be replaced with a decent onroad offroad tire but not sure which one to go with. i was thinking the grapplers again just to damn noisey and wear down to fast on the road. what would you guys/ girls if your out there recommend for a decent onroad offroad tire?
