in the middle of doing it myself......
little hint tho, do NOT buy your led's from radioshack. they don't carry any that are bright enough......go to ebay and get the one's from hong kong that are like 55,000mcd!
and if you need any help, hit up weedahoe.
he did his this way and turned out great.

sweet gonna hopefully get r done next week end, i'm hopeing to be able to feed then in thru the light hole to avoid taking my light covers off

now should i got blue or white is the question

ehh, i tried that and they don't come out all that great. i did One when i did my HID retro. i used 7,000mcd LED's and they weren't all that bright. I ended up just buying CCFL's for $35 shipped to my door. MUCH brighter and cleaner looking. The more you bend the rod, the less light that makes it to the other side. You can make the LEDS brighter by installing a lower resistor inline, but it will burn out faster.

Time and materials spent on the project....Much easier to pay $35 shipped to your door IMO.

I agree with jusy buying the CCFLS and getting it done. However and as MC35 said, I did my own some time back. HERE is the thread on it and HERE are some pics

Let us know how yours turn out.
