So I'm not taking over someone's thread anymore
Ok, pretty much got down the power wire thing. Thanks for all the help guys. My question is for people who have done this the homemade way. Is it a noticeable gain and would you recommend doing it?
do it i made one and i have more resistors its just butt dyno that feels anything...just be sure to reset pcm and make sure your tuner is set to stock before you reset your pcm just in case....then retune the truck...i mean thats what i would do....
Im partially interested in this mod myself. I just don't plan doing too much performance-wise to this thing, but if it's really worth it, and really simple, and really cheap, it qualifies !!
And thank you Cwboy for having those pics of your rig in your profile, I used them as my bargaining leverage with the ol' lady, haha. Now she see's exactly what my truck would look like with those exact tires, exact size, stock wheels, and leveled.
NOW I am still getting the 295/70's NTG's and the HBS leveling kit
(as long as shocks arent an absolute with the level, which I understand they aren't)
Edit: the fact that I practically threw a hissy fit over the fact that HER tires were bigger than MINE, helped convice her too
(265/65 vs 245/70
)
