Default 2003 Hemi Ram Professional Tuning

Does anyone know if I can take my truck to the local dyno spend a half day and build a custom tune in the event that say I make a large mod or something similar (not gonna reveal potential surprise) ? I really do not want to swap pcms and **** over from a 2005. So does/has anyone had a dyno tune done to an 03 money as of right now is not an object I just need to know if I can.

There are plenty of guys that will custom tune it via email tunes if you have SCT or DSP.

Hemifever - member on DT
Stu- intertia motorsports
Bob - SVS motorsports
Marty - KRC performance

they typically charge about $250 to tune it till its right. There are tons of guys with 03's custom tuned. Some of them are very fast trucks. I'll be one of the next ones gettin custom tuned hopefully

no SCT does not support 03's at all - which is why the sct guys recommend DSP or SC. If you want custom tuning your ONLY option for the 03 is DSP. They get around the idle by adjusting other perameters to help compensate for it. the best tuners dont need to adjust idle at all to get even moderate cams to idle properly as long as all the other perameters are perfect. Another option is the PSC1, which can be used in conjuction with either DSP or SC to pull fuel at idle, which has the same effect as raising the idle

edit: my appologies on the confusion. My reference to SCT for custom tuning in the previous post was for 04+. It is not relevant to the OP, who like myself has the cursed 03 .

The unfortunate reality is that you're not going to get a tune to run boost on an 03. I know you really want it... but you just have the wrong year. It sucks and all that.
