37 inch tires?
i have a 2inch level kit and 3inch body lift on my ram. was wondering if 37 inch tires would fit without any problems. plus does anybody have a suggestions on a longer shock for my truck. everytime i hit even the smallest little bump it seems like i am hitting a huge bump. i know that is beacuse my shocks are over extended. any help would be gr8 thanks!

Most Definately they will work. Im in the process getting things ready to fit 37s. My friend has a 3 inch body lift. cranked the torsion bars right up and put and extra leaf in the back and they fit no problem with no rub. will have to do an alignment as well with that but for sure is possible.

4by or 2wd? I can't believe your friend is running 37's with only a tbar crank and a body lift with no rubbing! The only thing I would worry about is with the IFS suspension, you ARE gonna have a lot of premature wear on the front components. That's a lot of weight for a IFS suspension to try to handle. Just my opinion though, not sayin' you can't do it. That's just doesn't seem like you'd have enough room without rubbing to run 37's on only a BL and a level.

I think they should be able to, think about how many of us have 35s with just a level. I know I could even probably go up to nearly a 36, but there would be some real rubbing issues at that point, but my 35X12.5 toyo mt's fit well, If I had to truly articulate it would be a little rough, but I never have to. I think with 3 inches more lift I would be able to fit 37's with limited articulation.

what about my problem with the bumps? when i go over the smallest bumps it sounds like i am hitting a huge bump. i am thinking of buying some longer shocks, since im pretty sure i am over extending my stock ones with all the lift i have on. any suggestions on what kind of longer shock i should go with for a 06?

I call BS on "your friend", you need 6" of true lift to fit 37s on a 1500 w/o trimming and articulation still ain't the greatest.
Do yourself a favor and get 35s. The 06+ 1500s use even a smaller and weaker CV axle than the 02-05s and neither can handle it if you actually use your truck for more than just sitting in the mall parking lot.
If you gotta run 37"+ tires, get a solid axle truck...

NOW THAT'S THE BEST IDEA I'VE READ ON THIS FORUM IN A LONG TIME!!!
and to think, the dealer had a brand new black 2500 Hemi sitting right next to mine on the lot and he'd have done the same price on either.
Only thing swayed me was the 1500 had $3000 in rebate that the 2500 did not and the 1500 was a Laramie and the 2500 was an SLT and I likes my leather...
If I'da only known then................
