Default Rust-free Lug Nuts?

Dosnt matter how much i pay for lug nuts they always seem to rust in about a year. I live in Michigan and they salt the crap outta they roads. Has anyone found some that dont rust?

The stock ones haven't rusted on my and they use tons of salt here too.

Yea mine have started rusting now in the last year and a half that I've had them. I'm just gunna paint them and keep em waxed. Hopefully that'll help.

I bought new ones last spring and they are already rusting. They see to rust from the inner part(where they dont get washed) out.

hit em with clear coat when new or when replaced every time slap happy joe the village mechanic or yourself get bat them hit em again no more rust...I wouldn't use never seize on them btw thats one nut you don't want to loosen. Also get covered nuts next time that'll protect the studs..much like the guys in this forum need protection did I call them studs....???? Nah no way....

I am a pipliner and put a ton of miles on my truck so i paid goodyear like $28 for lifetime tire rotation. I am sure they take no care in being careful. I should do it myself but its a pain in the *** trying to find stuff to put under the jack and jack stands to lift the truck high enough. Guess i gotta quit being so lazy!!

Yeah, Joe and I were actually talking about this when we met because my lug nuts look disgusting next to my wheels and his are starting to rust as well. I think I may paint mine as well.

Paint with clear-coat? Should i repaint everytime they come off?
