Besides, this idea has been around forever. Late 80's as far as I remember.
I've got one better than that. My buddy has one of those water sprinklers that runs along the hose, so wherever you place the hose this sprinkler follows. When it gets to the end it goes backwards..etc.
I mentioned to him a few years ago that if he makes an oval underneath his truck that the sprinkler will automatically go round and round under the truck without him needing to move it.
He went mudding the next day and said that it worked like a charm.
OP, I went mudding once and wasn't by choice. I'll never do that with my towing/hauling truck again. Offroading is not for a brand new $37k truck IMO. I think I'll wait a few years before I begin any of that sort, besides...the cleaning I went through was a nightmare and it was more hassle than the offroading was fun. I still have mud stains on the underside and I want this truck to be as reliable as possible when towing my equipment. Offroading puts stress on everything and I have no $$$ to play.

I decided to take the woman and pups for a ride yesterday! They had a blast!
