Well, they're on...

Now I just need Mother Nature to cooperate a little so I can get it back on the road.
Original Power Slot setup:

New stuff:
Plenty of clearance, but now I'm tied to 20" or bigger on wheels. Might bother me if it was a 4WD, but I think I'll live.

Almost finished product

Give us some details about what you put on there. They look good BTW.

:icon_steer:I gotta tell ya i'm a big fan of the slotted rotors, better cooling in haevy braking situations, and less warping imo.:icon_dance-disco:

2005 SRT QC spindles, coil springs (the Bilsteins were already there), calipers and rotor. Decided to replace some worn suspension components while I was in there, including the hubs. Everything is new except for the spindles. Those 4 piston calipers are HUGE and are fixed, not floating. I'm gonna see if my original front brakes will bolt on to the rear and work correctly. SRT rear calipers are 2 pistons that look amazingly similar to our standard front calipers...:icon_denk:

So am I, and when it is time to replace these I probably will, but PS rotors for this setup are $$$ whereas OEM type were not. So I'll deal with it.

nice, how much did they set you back? I found some used front ones on craigslist for $500...seemed a little high but maybe thats the going rate http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/pts/1707477825.html

New calipers $260 on ebay, he mistakenly listed them as 04's, which are floaters and a different style (plus I think they're a hair smaller). Rotors about $200. I kinda had to take it in the rear for the hubs ($175 each), unfortunately I didn't find them cheaper until it was too late. Bolts for the hubs and calipers straight out of Mopar parts, about $20ish. Spindles (I think they were about $200-250ish) are from an SRT that had an engine fire and roasted the cab. He wanted to sell me his used rotors and calipers to go with, but I already had the new ones and he wanted way too much. Coil springs are amazingly cheap, even for the factory high performance stuff (don't remember how much). The Bilsteins were pricey, but worth it.

If you're gong to bother to pay $500 for just the front rotors and calipers, you may as well shell out a little more for these, and you're still going to need to get spindles.
