Front Axle u-joint problems

I have a 2007 1500 4x4 Mega. My passenger side front axle u-joint went out at 29000 miles, and now again at 39000 miles. Is this a common issue/problem part? If not, what could be causing this?

Thanks!

We honestly get a few calls and emails a week about this problem. So that is what prompted us to develop our CV Axle technology for Dodge Rams. ~RCV Performance

If I start calling you a few times a week, will you do something for us 1500 guys too?

The 1500's are almost done with the engineering phase. We have completed the 2500/3500 sets. They are hot off the shop floor. We installed and tested a set today and all I can say is, WOW! Usually to kick off a new prouduct we give away a set. You can find the details on the front page of our site at http://www.rcvperformance.com
