i only remembered half way thu to take some pics

Attachment 84202

i know its a bit hack but all i did was push the wire in to the stock connector then secured the wire to it self with some tape, my dads an electrician and he said it will never come out un less its pulled works for me lol
(the wire is also bent back on its self and taped)
Attachment 84203

Attachment 84204

i was able to reuse the stock space (its the gray piece)
Attachment 84205

This is where i tied the wire and connected it to the door with a tiewrap so it wouldn't get caught in the window

I have almost the same speakers in my doors, I forgot to secure the wires and the first time I rolled down the windows my speakers cut out. DOH! Anyways when you get around to doing the rear doors, the stock size is 5 1/4 but I fit 6 1/2 in there. All I had to do was to drill a hole for one of the screws and used the stock holes for the other 2. And FYI you can run down to a best buy and get the speaker harness adapters for a couple bucks. Anyways cool beans man!

I ran into some trouble with mounting depth for front 6x9's at the audio shop a couple weeks back. Original plan was MTX had to upgrade last minute to diamond audio. They had the shallow mounting depth needed. Window was hitting the MTX's. Just an FYI, the guy at the shop couldn't even believe they wouldn't fit.
