2" Drop shakles, VHT tails, painted calipers and fresh wax... MHMMMM
Well i did it. For the past few days i have been busting my *** getting projects done on my truck. I dropped the rear a little more then 2 inches it seems. I put the shakles in and it just wasn't enough. I had the help, tools and the time so i tossed the overload springs out the door. She sits LEVEL!!! 6 1/2" in the front and back wheel wells spaced. That was thursday. Yesterday i did a 8am-10pm day. I started by painting all my calipers (red of course). I then ditched my old "gutta grill" for 4 fresh new pieces followed by some adhesion promoter, quick silver paint and a few coats of clear. They came out great. I threw my old RAM badge in the corner of the grill to touch it up a bit (i know, stealing ideas right!?). I then spent the rest of the afternoon doing my tails. As provided on here how to do the perfect tails, i followed them and am very pleased with the results. It took a while but perfection takes time. I only have 1 problem... The lights are very dim and it's only a matter of time before i get pulled over. Or worse, an accident. Can anyone tell me a place i can pick up LED 3057 bulbs?? And will they throw the lamp out light on my dash? Please i need some sources so i can buy them today or tomorrow... Somthing much brighter. And for the pictures. I meant to take a lot but the digital camera died so i only got a few. Let me know what you all think. Did a whole wax job with Mothers Ball4Paint. Washed my truck with Turtle Zip Wax and followed it by Mother Synwax. VERY PLEASED!
TLDR: Too bad, suck it up.

dont know much about the led lights but this seems to be a good sight http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...sp=%2F1157.htm . Truck looks damn good. What brand shackles did you buy? I want to level out my truck with the drop shackles but im not sure yet. Was it close to level before you took out the overload springs?
