For an offroad beast, i would reccomend a normal locker in the back and an air locker up front.
I wouldn't do an air locker in the back for an everyday truck nor would I do a locker either. Get an Auburn clutch or DTT(detoit truetrac). Those 2 will be quiet and road worthy.

I really like the looks of the DTT!!! What axle does my 4x4 2005 1500 reg cab with the hemi have? Or how can I find out? Can I put one of these on the front and back or just the back?

DTT is a good choice for the rear of a 4x4, well so is an Auburn for that matter. You have a Chrysler Corporate (AAM) 9.25" rear. As far as the front goes, you have an IFS, no such thing as a locker of LSD for it...

Is a DTT LSD and a locker the same thing? Is the DTT LSD going to give it power to both wheels like a locker would? I am such a newb :/

limited slip lets one tire slip alittle and then locks up with clutches.... a locker will physically lock your diff together.. with either AIR or power

They make a locker for an 8.25 Chrysler, isn't that what the front is?

Yes they do - for a 8.25" Chrysler 10 bolt, 27/29 spline REAR differential. Most prevalent in older Chrysler cars like the Dodge Dart, Fifth Avenue, New Yorker and Satellite.

How in the world are you gonna lock two separate CV axles?

I could have sworn they made a locker for the front of our trucks, I've been wrong before though.
