mods
Hi I am new here. I have a '05 2500 hemi. I am looking at doing some performance mods to my truck and trying to justify it to myself(and wife) by saying it also helps with fuel economy. My Bullydog Tripple Dog GT just came in today and I am going to pick it up friday. Currently I am also looking at the following mods.....
Throttle body spacer:
http://cpwstore.carpartswholesale.co.../S4157045.html
Headers:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PSM-70-2211/?rtype=10
And a cold air intake:
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/ramhemisnb.htm
Part of the requirements for me are the mods must be inexpensive relatively speaking, not to indepth to the vehicle i.e. no grinding, torching, or tearing apart the whole engine, and safe i.e. pretty much bolt on that won't harm the vehicle. Any of you that have had any experiance with these products or similar ones if you could please share your story/opinions I would greatly appreciate it.

If you do a search on here you will find all of these questions answered as well as a lot of other useful tips.
Pacesetter LT headers are a very good bang for buck mod. But they are not just bolt on, you will have to do some modding to get cats to work, or replace them with hi flow cats. And you will have to have some tubing bent and welded as well.
Cold air intake, many people on here make their own.
Throttle body spacer, save your money, it is worthless on the hemi, other than being a whistle.

on the page for the headers there is a link for "check application" you click it and it shows that 2500 so I don't know what to say about it fitting only a 1500. Yeah I did a breif search and it looks like everybody is on the same page as far as that spacer goes.
glass3222 Where is a good place to find, research and purchase hi-flow cats?

Some guys run Magnaflow cats, others get the stock cats opened up from 2.5 to 3" by an exhaust shop. Moe's performance is a good place to buy stuff from. As far as doing research, use the search function on this forum and other forums. You will find very useful info.
