I changed mine from the bottom (through the wheel wells) and it wasn't that bad. Next time give that a try and you can save your back and arms the abuse. remove the front wheels and fender liners and you have a pretty straight shot into the engine bay and much better access.
^^^^ I didn't think of that. I was too busy wondering why I was using the universal adaptor on every effing plug.lol. I started 4:30 am. finished 9:30. am. Coulda been sooner, but why race and drop or break something...Thats pretty much what i got when I took mine out. The champions were pretty close too gap btw. was yours?
my stock ones were like at .90 no joke. The gaps were worn to double of what they should have been but that was after 105,000 miles. I would also clean your throttle body, just be sure to connect the plug ALL THE WAY. I almost **** a brick when the truck just fell flat when i got on it and i wasn't able to accelerate.
The ones that I pulled out were pretty much still at.45, but that was with only 30K on them. I probably could have run them a lot longer, but for the ~$25 it is to change them out I figured it was better safe than sorry.
