Default Headlight replacement

Anyone have secretions for replacing headlights? I'm looking into these.
Any suggestions?

Wow those look nice! Are they much brighter than oem? I'm trying to deside if I like the chrome or blacked out ones.

They're about the same as far as brightness goes I'd wager. I tried using 100 watt halogens and all it did was burn a hole in my wallet, I saw nearly no benefit. I now run a 55 watt HID kit. A good three or so times brighter than even the 100 watt bulbs.

Did you have to do anything special to get the HID kit to work without flickering?

Nope! Bought this kit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HID-XENON-LIGHT-SLIM-KIT-H1-H3-H4-H7-H8-H9-H11-9006-5000k-6000K-8000K-100000k-/281265649978?hash=item417cbd393a
They're cheap chinese kits, but mine has been great.

The housing replacement we referenced earlier accepts two H1 style bulbs per housing.

I just got these lights in and they look like a hassle to wire everything together lol. I went with the smoked version though, not chrome. Is there a how-to or a write up somewhere that you followed? I am debating on whether or not to get HID, I would need 2 kits for all 4 lights in the projectors.

Wire everything up? The harness is literally plug and play. Wire the halos into your running lights, two wires. Done.
