1500 turbo kit
I searched this forum up and down to make sure I wasn't starting this thread for the up-teenth time...it's my first time here...and my first Dodge. Anyway, I came across this company and was wondering if anyone had anything, good or bad, to say about them or their product. I seems a little high-priced.

RE: 1500 turbo kit
nice kit, even includes a 9th injector to spray more fuel into the cylinders to pick up where the stock ones leave off. I just want to know what they did to get past the low RPM boost issues which will make any gasser with a turbo knock.
turbo's are great, uses very little energy, not directly connected to the engine. only power loss is from backpressure increases. however, if you dont do it right you can have a head fly off the block.
I still think a sump pump style blower is better suited, mainly since it doesnt begin to build boost untill 4K and the lower RPM's are virtualy untouched from boost.

RE: 1500 turbo kit
Yup, its www.ststurbo.com
The prices are on the website. Then it depends upon the dealer if there is any discount off of the MSRP. If you are serious about getting one, email me your phone number and I'll give you a call and we can discuss pricing. I'm also open for a group buy if we can get 3 or more buyers.
I installed it myself. We charge between $800-$1000 depending upon options and working around non-stock items on the truck.
I have the base kit with the electronic dual stage boost kit that brings me to 8.5lbs of boost.
Also upgraded the turbo to the GT67 and I have the Water/Air Intercooler with a 9lb Blow off valve.
My truck weighs 5900 lbs with driver. Best times are high 14's at 96mph with a 2.5 60'. I could easily get it down into the low 14's or maybe even high 13's but I'm aftaid of twisting the trans too much. On the street at a slight roll, this thing feels like a 13 second race car.
Will be on the dyno this week, hopefully. Expect around 440 to 450 RWHP.
