hey weedahoe, before i begin to ask my next question id like to say i'm ignorant to trucks. now, how can i lift my truck like yours? and how much does it cost?

I think what Weed was getting at, is... Any truck can get stuck, It's knowing how not to get stuck in the first place that is the trick.

LOL....about $1500 in material if all new.

$900+shipping for the 6" Rough Country lift
$150 for the 2.5 Daystar coil spacers
$50 for the 3" rear lift shackles
$350 for the 3" body lift

I installed everything myself so I have no labor or shop install costs so that helps

We were all ignorant to our truck at some point. You are at home now though.

actually i take that back, i asked my buddy to do a 3 inch suspension lift and he told me 700. looks like you have a 6 inch right?

He's got a lot more than six inches of lift.

I'd say start with a nice level kit to even out the front with the back, and then a 3" body lift (would net you about 5") and see how you like that. You'd be looking at roughly $500 plus labor. But then the tires are gonna be another story, LOL...

ok i see what you're saying.... Do i necisarly have to have bigger tires right away after i get the lift? cause id like to space out the money spending xD

No, there is no mechanical reason to having a lift with stock size tires, just a cosmetic one. To me, the level kit is a must and its really cheap with coil spacers and relatively cheap with spindles (spindles are better, but most use spacers). I hate that "rake" or "nose down" look of a stock truck.
