Default Comp 268 is IN....

Its a done deal boys and girls, the comp 268 is finally in... YAY!!!!... sort of...

The install went good, found out I had a bunch of sticky sludge like crud on the intake side of the heads, we got it all cleaned out though and ran them through the parts cleaner.

We got everything buttoned up, loaded the tune and cranked her over only to die the first few times.... reset the truck to stock (unloading all previous saved tune information even the tcm) reloaded the tune and it fired right up and had no issues idling... in park.... I took it for a drive to head home and at every stop light, sign etc. the rpms would bounce around between 400rpms and about 1000rpms and then die. If I came to a stop light and put it in park though the rpms would even out around 750rpms. So I gotta see whats going on there, 99.99% possitive its the tune so hopefully I will get that worked out tomorrow cause I cant drive it like this to work in rush hour traffic (stop and go).

Now... for the moment you have all been waiting for...

Got another "better" video loading now. It is still stalling when coming to a stop, well it surges and then stalls. I took the startup tune from hemifever and bumped the idle up about 200rpms and that got rid of the stalling however it still has a surge to it. Sent him the logs so hopefully this will be worked out today

probably wont run without the custom tune and IF it did (holding the gas pedal) Im sure you would get codes. Dont think of trying to run this cam without a tune.
