Seats won't recline
 

The front seats in my 2008 Ram Big Horn 4x4 don't seem to want to recline. The handle on the side of the seats moves, but it feels to me like it's binding. I looked at the back of the seat and I can see the bar going from the outboard to inboard side moving. I don't know if this is a common problem, or if it's just something on my truck only. I'm not a big fan of pulling the seats in order to get them working, so I'd like to know if this is something that can be done with them in the truck?
I'm going to take another look tomorrow after I change the oil and try to get the pesky gascap light to go off.
