Well lets just say shes stuck on the side of a hill on the side of the property and she doesnt go into gear. I did for a brief period run 4x4 today and worked fine, when pulling out we went angled down a hill normally without an issue and then she just stopped. I think I blew the transfercase linkage from the 4x4 shifter to the transer case. But however I am unable to see exactly whats damaged b/c I cant find a picture of what it should look like. Any pictures/ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

 

reading through some posts, blown out gromits, manual shift from transfercase! man you guys are amazing! lol

but one question, how do i know what point is 2 wheel on the transfercase? b/c when I manually shifted, beggers cant be choosers on if she drives, i got into 4x4.

This shows the truck in 2HI, from the cab if I pull the shifter back one notch it goes into 4x4 HI, which would push the linkage bar forward. So I think that on the transfer case farthest forward is 4HI, then 2HI, then neutral, then 4LOW all the way back.
