2004 Ram, hood won't open
 

I was working on the intake, batter disconnected. Closed the hood for awhile. I just went back to finish up, but i cannot seem to open the hood. The handle in the cab seems to do nothing. It does not need power does it?

How can i get it to open!

Crap.things got worse. I was trying to get the thing to open...and i broke the 2nd release cable that that goes straight down. CRAP. Still cannot figure out how to get it to release. Please help.
