Default knocking sound - please help

i got my brakes done (rotors and pads, all 4) about 3 months ago and ive had no problems. last week ive noticed that as im slowing down to stop and i get to about 5 mph that i hear a knocking sound. the brakes stop perfectly fine and nothing shakes or anything but i get this sound like if you were to knock once on a piece of metal. i hear it in the front only and only as im slowing down to come to a stop at about 5 mph it will make the sound one time only but each time i stop. i did just have the dodge dealer do my front diff and used royal purple but i dont think that is whats making the sound. any ideas????

My drivers side does the same thing and I know it is my wheel bearing. Im getting ready to order a new one here in the next few days to replace it

its better than a differential problem... wheel bearings are easy to replace.

I heard the same knocking sound/thing the other day and found my outter tie rod end completely sheared off!!!
It was only the rubber gator, muck and the small stubby snapped off end shaft of the tie rod end, keeping the tie rod still in place on the steering knuckle.
I'd get that sucker up on a lift and pull push and pry bar every little bit of suspension till I found the culprit.
I was SOOOO lucky in that I investigated the scource of this noise quickly. Otherwise it might have been a total disaster for me, doing about 70 as I was and a steering wheel turning sharp left/right with the other pointing straight ahead.
It would have flipped me, the wife and my mum over with drastic catastrophic results I'm sure!

Strange thing is..............Dave at DMH sent to me a small card, shipped out with my replacement cutout the other day.
On the card it had a picture of Jesus holding a person up as he stumbled and i believe it's a very famous picture called "forgiveness".

Well I for one totally believe that he was watching over me that day and it was the day after I received that card which I placed carefully into my truck, that I discovered this fault.

I'm sure nothing as drastic as my problem, is causing this knock for you. But, I would 100% make sure that everything was good under their JOHNSN10.
You owe it to yourself and other road userers for sure!

Post up what you find bud and take care and good luck!

Al.

I dont see any problems or broken parts under there. I took the truck out for a drive with my cousin and had the windows down and out of 5 stops it only made the knock sound 1x but it was loud. I just cant seem to figure this out
