Want to lift/level my truck, would this be a ok option?

Was originally thinking about front coil spacers but heard they cause a lot of issues. So I am thinking about the Rough Country 3" lift. My truck is a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab 2wd. I do NOT off road in my truck but like the level/slightly lifted stance. So would the 3" RC lift be a good choice? (I know its a cheap kit but I don't off-road.) Also the kits says it requires 4.5" wheel backspacing, would my stock chrome 17" ram wheels work with this?

Coil spacers wont hurt anything but you will need an alignment. IMO, the first and best way to go is with a spindle lift which you can buy off www.airbagit.com or ebay.

The spindle lift is quite a bit more expensive isn't it? I don't want to spend too much just for a slight lift and level look, if I was doing a big lift I would drop serious money.

Its about 270 for the spindles. Compared to the price of coil spacers, yes they are expensive but you get what you pay for.

So $270 for spindles to lift the front? Then buy blocks for rear?

Yeah, spindles and pick up some rear blocks from Autozone for $30.

Dont but the blocks until you lift the front and then measure the difference in height so you know what thickness blocks to get
