07 Ram Hemi Rpm Surge

Here we go again. I just sold an 01 dakota that had rpm surges while going down the hwy. Turned out to be a faulty TPS that had just been replaced. Now ive bought an 07 Ram Hemi that has 58000 miles thats doing the same thing. Running around 60-70 mph the rpm will surge up and down and feel like its kicking up and down gears. 70 or above seems to be better. I noticed the Hemi doent have a TPS so what could be causing this. I searched the forum but its not easy finding information.

how bad is it surging? this could be the MDS enabling and disabling. just thinking out loud here. try driving with the tow haul feature on and see if it does it. mine idles uber low at like 3-400 rpm after coming off highway speeds but never surges while im driving. interesting. im gonna follow this thread and see where this goes

its a constant thing and seems to go into a really low rpm gear back and forwth. surges in the 2000 rpm range slightly up and down but enouph where you can hear and feel it.
