Default 35's on 2007 2wd (help)

I have searched this site (may have missed the answer), have been to shops, and searched some more. Can 35's on stock 20's work and how....the lowest level or lift? I keep being told NO. Part number please. v'r- Huebner

Please refer to the wheel and tire sticky at the top of the page. You will need to level at least.

That's where I started. Like I said, I've searched and searched. I've even received an PM from dirtydog to inquire. ****The simular situation happened when I was told I couldnt put 15's on my 2007 JK. I have 15's with no issues. Can someone confirm with part #'s that 35's on stock 20's will work? I'm requesting some detailed info (actually help). Thanks a bunch for the help

You will need at least a 2" level to make sure they clear 100%... but you might be able to get away with 1.5".... the tire sticky can get confusing but all the info is there.

On a 2007 4x2, you will need to raise the front a minimum of 2", possibly 3" (every truck seems to be slightly different, and spring sag plays a small part as well). At 3" you should be able to turn the wheel pretty close to the locks with 35x12.5R20s and not rub. Also, this depends on which tire you choose. Not all 12.5" tires are 12.5" wide. They can vary plus or minus 12.5" a pretty decent amount. Of course, a hub spacer could help if you want to use the stock 20's and retain the ability to turn lock-to-lock. We may be able to give more insightful information if you tell us exactly which tires you were aiming to get. This could narrow down the possibilities.

Thank you Brandon......confirmation of something i can work with. I call the shop to order...they respond it wont work....dont buy. so then i guess myself. I'll now at least buy a 2.5 level kit and go from there. IF there is anyone doing this combo please chime in. specific parts or #s is helpful.

I'm not sure that they make a 2.5" for the post-'06 RAM 1500. You can get a 2" spacer or a 3" spindle though. If you're interested, I have a set of 2" spacers I'd love to part with LoL I've got the website for the spindle around here somewhere.
