Default 2007 Ram 1500 true duals

I am thinking of getting true duals on my truck.I am wanting to cutt the factory y pipe off and just come off of each catalytic converter and go straight back to two Hooker mufflers and exit at the side in front of the rear tire.Does anyone know if this will hurt me as far as back pressure goes or will it be better for me since I have a CAI and Superchips Flashpaq 91 performance tune?By the way,It is a 4.7

if you stay arround 2.5 in for pipe you still have back pressure...stay with the same size as the stock ex manifolds...

removal of the y pipe my require a retap of a a o2 sensor.

Inspection might be a problem too... with true duals you still need a Cat on each pipe....

You might end up running into a "lean" condition depending on where the Upstream O2 sensor is placed.

My plan is to leave the cats stock as is and cut it right behind the downstream o2 sensor and go from there..But I am wondering if I should put an H pipe in there somewhere or just not connect the two at all?.What would you guys do?H it or not?

If you have MDS and do not have it turned off then I'd put an H in there...otherwise it might end up really sounding terrible and raspy... but I don't know what your goal (sound-wise) is...

This video will show you how it might end up... not sure if it's what you are looking for.

Or maybe with an X-Pipe...

There are tons of videos out there, so you can figure out what you are looking for.
