Default 2002 ram 1500 4.7 idling/ stalling issue

Truck was surging while parked, then it would die at stops, I cleandd the iac valve, now seems to idle around 1000 rpms when warm, shut it off and start it thdn maybe 500- 600 range, seems like oil pressure guage is slo going up. I cleaned te air filter as well. Anyone one else has anything similar? Has 17x, xxx miles

It runs great down the highway, it has just died on me a few times at stops, happened maybe 3 times in 6 months, but would start back up and be fine. After the idle surging while parked, I got it home but had to keep it running at stop lights, then it died, tridd to start it, it started then died, but if I gave it gas it would run. Will start and run now, but at stops it will sometimds idle at 900-1000 rpms but after maybe 10 seconds or so it starts dropping slowly, then other stops its idling around 5-600

If the crank sensor is going out wouldnt it cause the oil guage to drop, like reading crank not turning

Are you getting any codes? What did you clean the throttle body with?

No codes, I cleaned the iac with carb cleaner, sprayed a little in opening for the iac and shot a little in the front in the slot around the round opening on the bottom

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Many times it's that simple.

It cut out few times today, threw a code for crankshaft position sensor. Would that cause funny idling? After it cut out had rotten egg smell. It was like turning key on and off, got home set about 15 minutes, fired it up and drove
