3rd Gen leaf spring bushings
 

Hey Fellas


My ride's an '03 1500 V8 4wd ST


Doing a routine inspection of the running gear under the box, I see that my leaf spring bushings are not only worn, they're just shot! I thought that a replacement kit (and switching to polyurethane) would be a piece of cake. Man, was I WRONG!!! I searched everywhere - NAPA, AutoZone, Advance - you name it! And have come up with nothing. Only leaf spring bushings for the 2wd's. No listings or part numbers for the 4wd's. The only confirmation so far has been with a Chrysler Dodge dealership who wants to sell me a complete set (left front & back, and right front & back) for $220...


!!!!


There's gotta be something else.


QUESTION:


Aren't the 4wd and 2wd leaf springs for this truck ('03 1500 V8 4wd ST) basically the same? If a purchased the 2wd full set and put them on, shouldn't they work? (I would save a FORTUNE!!!)


Any thoughts?

02wd vs, 4wd rear are the same.
same bushings on the 10 and the hemi (rear)
