Elusive front end pop
Hello everyone I have a 2004 Ram 1500 4X4 4.7 L. I have had a clunking noise in the front end and I have replaced the upper ball joints and control arms, the lower ball joints, and the sway bar links. The clunking has been reduced but it still happens when I turn and hit bumps at the same time. It's just one clunk and not highly concerning, just bugs me. Cv's seem to look good. I don't know whether to call it a clunk or a pop either. Truck drives like new. Any idears? Thanks

He stated that he has replaced most of the things there so the reduction in noise is expected but obviously those were not the issue as he still has the pop noise.
in my IDEA, you already spend a lot to put the new things in there, don't let a bad part to consume those new parts and start again from scratch minus money. go under it and start looking for what you have not changed or how well you have mounted the parts you put there "torque specs on bolts/nuts" grease etc. for sure its something loose of worn out just eliminate whatever you can and what will remain is the cause . have someone to hear near the tire and replicate it to check the general area the sound comes from you, do it on low speed and listen to both sides etc.
