I purchased the truck new with a factory remote starter back in 2003. The truck does start and run. Recently the climate control doesn't blow air until after I place the key into the ignition and turn the key to engage it for driving.

Has anyone come across this before and/or have a remedy?

You sure it was factory? There isn't' an option for it in the parts book that year. Factory systems allow any thing to run that normally would with the engine running/key on. It sounds like an aftermarket setup that wasn't quite wire din right.

 

Hi... yes, you're fight. I finally found my purchase papers and it's an F60/F65 remote.
