Default ‘05 4.7 accessory noise is killing me!

Changed tensioner & idler pulley- no help

Changed alternator- no help

Replaced compressor clutch bearing- no help

So as the noise disappears when the serpentine belt is removed, all that’s left is the water pump and power steering pump.

Take a listen and tell me what you think. This was prior to changing the bearing but the noise is the same.

remove the entire clutch fan system and see if the noise is still there, the clutch itself could be bad and the noise you hear is the fan blades

You, sir, were spot on! The clutch appeared to be fine, but it is definitely the cause of the noise. Kudos!
