New to Forum and need of help!
My 03 Dodge ram 1500 runs fine on idle but when I press the gas fast and hard the engine will stall. It runs good if I press the gas slowly but once I press the gas quickly or hard the engine stalls. Please help!

Check engine lite on? How many miles on it? Does it run ok, aside from not liking large throttle changes?

Not sure, it might be! |
That complicates things some. :) I don't have any documentation on those, nor any experience with them. Others here do though. Patience is the key. :D Good Luck.

I was told just now that it is not a drive-by-wire. It is a direct connection from pedal to throttle body |
In that case, I would have a long, hard look at the throttle position sensor. It is apparently ignoring you.

Thanks
