I have a 2008 dodge ram 1500 4.7 with about 70k on it and when it heats up and i am sitting at a light idle drops down to about 500rpm maybe a little less and it runs a little rough it use to idle around 600rpm if turn the AC on it runs normal. It has been doing this for months now but getting a little annoying truck runs and drives fine otherwise no loss of power at all. I changed all 16 plugs... full tune up and it is still doing it Reminds me of a bad TPS or IAC in my old dodge so i cleaned throttle body but from what i can tell you cant change them in the newer dodges how often do they go bad? I dont want to spend $150 on a new throttle body if it could be something else..
