04 1500 5.7 Hemi won’t start please help

please help me I just bought this truck and it won’t start,I have spark and my fuel pressure is at 55psi the codes coming up are P0113,p0700 and p2106 I don’t think any of these would cause the no start.any help would be greatly appreciated

HeyYou 07-15-2018 09:31 AM

P0113 IAT circuit high. This *could* cause a no-start, as the PCM will run the engine quite lean...... may not be a burnable mixture when the engine is cold.

p2106 means the pcm is limiting throttle opening, due to another failure elsewhere. (P0113 perhaps......)

Replace the IAT sensor. Clear codes, see if it starts.

Ok thank you I’ll try that today and let you know thanks again

Ok I replaced the sensor and cleared the codes but still now go,is there a way to check the timing ont his truck or any other ideas

HeyYou 07-15-2018 08:32 PM

Timing is controlled by the computer, and is not adjustable at all. If you are getting good spark, and have fuel pressure, check and see if you are getting injector pulse. (noid light, local parts store should be able to rent you one.)

Ok I checked the injectors and I have pulse and when I open the door the chime rings like the key is in and the wipers go on for a second.

HeyYou 07-16-2018 06:08 PM

Huh???

How did you test for injector pulse???

Dukeshow 07-16-2018 06:14 PM

With a noir light the wipers and chime have been doing that since I got the truck I didn’t know if that had anything to do with the no start

Dukeshow 07-16-2018 06:17 PM

Noid light sorry autocorrect I’m picking up a compression test or today that’s next on the list

HeyYou 07-16-2018 06:27 PM

That would be: autoINcorrect. :)

Ok, you have spark, you have good pressure, and you have injector pulse..... it *should* run...... Pull a couple plugs, are they really wet??
