Aftermarket Keyless entry: How to make lights flash?

HI All,
I'm trying to figure out how to install a cheap ebay keyless entry system on my 2008 Ram ST Crew Cab. I have the locks figures out, but I'm not sure how to get it to flash the parking lights.
I have found by trial and error that I can turn the lights on if I short the blk/org wire & the wht/LtGrn wire (at the headlight switch) with a 1Kohm resistor, and I can turn them off with a 2.2Kohm resistor.
My keyless entry module has a single wire passing 12V through designated for the parking lights. So i assume I need a SDPT relay to activate on the 12V signal and close on the "on" resistor and close on the "off" resistor when the relay is not activated, does this sound right?
I am also concerned that the NC side of the relay will bypass the light switch and prevent the lights from turning on when I use the switch.
Does anyone know how to wire something like this up? I'm not really sure what to do.

The system is basically this one Ebay keyless entry
Will this Relay work?

Thanks,
Ben

You can just tap into the wires an use a diode. That would be the cheapest and simplest way

What kind of diode? Where in the circuit does it go? I assume I still need the relay?
I'm sorry for not being up to speed, but I need as detailed instructions as you can give.
Thank you for the help, I really appreciate it.

You'd have to research the diode but basically it only allows current to flow one way. You would find your park light wire (or the two you listed) and you would cut them. Now you cut 2 wires (make them love enough to go to the box to the wires you just cut) and then solder a doide (white line goes towards the factory truck wiring) to the wires that you just made. Then connect those wires you made to the wires you cut, then connect them to the box. I can try and make a diagram (would be on paper and I'll take a picture of it) if you need. To find out the diode you need to find out how many volts are in the factory wiring.
