Sensor queation

Hello everyone. I have a question about my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 that I bought from my sister. It has a 5.7 hemi that I had to rebuild and now I cannot figure out what sensor was install below the MAF sensor behind/below the AC compressor. The shop installed a plug where it is supposed to go and I have not been able to find what it is when I Google for it.

What issues are you having?

I have not been able to figure out what sensor is supposed to go there. I have the check engine light and the throttle position light on now. I looked at another guys truck and there is a sensor there and I have an extra plug not plugged into anything so I just need to figure out what sensor to ask for at AutoZone.

What is the code from the check engine light?

I do not know. It is not inspected or registered yet so I cannot drive it to AutoZone to get the code. I just figured someone would know what that sensor was by my description of its location. I wished I had taken pics of it but I'm good at remembering where things go so I didn't.

Code will probably tell you what it is. Best thing you can have in your tool box these days is a code scanner. Less than $20.

Don't know if your truck is like mine, but close the door, put on seat belt, put key in and turn Run-Off-Run-Off-Run and see if codes display at the odometer. Don't start it, just turn to the Run position.
