Question for those who swapped from 3.92 to 4.56 gears
Did you guys go with Mopar parts or aftermarket? I'm looking to do this if I free up sometime next week and was just curious what the preference was. Also, if anyone did go w/ dealer parts, do any of you have the part #s for the front and rear gearsets? thanks

Well, I did the install today. I ended up using the Yukons up front and went with Richmonds in the rear. The acceleration down low is amazing...It caught me by surprise actually. It'll break the hefty Nittos loose on a kickdown and even rotate the tires a few turns on the 1-2 shift.

From what i remember it was around 2200 at 70. I'll doublecheck next time I hit the highway. The increase in RPMs isn't all that noticeable(to feel, obviously you can see an increase on the tach) until the higher speeds, like 90ish, then it's about 2500 RPMs, but still not uncomfortable. I rarely do any highway travel though, just took it up to speed on the roadtest for a few exits to make sure all was well. I'll def. take some notes this weekend and give some exact #s.

should be higher than that... I got 4.1 and I pull about 2050 at 70 MPH, with tires about the same size as the stock 20's

Unless y'all recalibrated your speedo's (and I don't mean the one's covering your butt's ) you will not get a correct rpm reading. Could be a simple computer reprogram I'm not sure. With stock 17" tires and a stock 3.92 rear I'm running 2100 @ 70 mph.
