Default Turning but won't start

I have an 05 1500 4.7 V8 trying to diagnose. Truck was perfect til Sunday evening. Driving home, it's hot out, like 100, truck loses all power . Coast to side of road and let her sit. After 10 minutes or so she started back up, cranked a little bit harder, but started. Moved about less than a 1/4 Mile and she died again. Let her sit a few hours and came back. Started up fine, again just cranked a bit more but made it home. We were thinking either crankshaft or camshaft positioning sensors so replaced both. No luck. Sounded like it is not getting ignition. It turns but no fire. Fuel pump seems to be working properly. Any thoughts?

Have you checked for spark? either with a spark tester or just loosely holding a plug/wire over the engine? I cant remember if the the 4.7 still had wires or if it switched to coil packs, may have to remove the coil pack and hold it over the engine

They are coil packs. OP, did you scan for any codes?

unfortunately the check engine never came in and no codes were stored. It is making a loud noise when you attempt to start now. Almost a rattling sound. Whatever it is seems to have affected the timing
