2002 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L Overheating
So my dad just bought a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L. We replaced the Starter due to it having problems cranking. Now its running hot and dying. He is having to use the 2 foot system when driving it. There is water leaking in the front and from the muffler. Does anyone know what could be causing it? The top hose is hot but the radiator is cod to the touch. We also replaced the metal part of the water pump hose to heater hose due to corrosion. We was told it might be the thermostat that's causing it to run hot. It has died twice after replacing the starter. Anyone have any advice as to what it could be? TIA
