RE: Bad Bad News
Be carefull when you go to the dealer and bring a copy of the KBB and NADA values with you. I had a dealer show me the KBB site (at the dealership) and they didn't add the Hemi option (about 1K less in value). When I mentioned it they said they made a mistake but never changed their price. I left them and will never go back.

Cummins and a 4x4 is like owning a gold mine. and I own one
KBB lists my truck as being worth $32K which is about 6K less than what I payed for it back in 04
CTD, 4x4, 6spd, off road package, and all sorts of other goodies being just shy of the laramie edition[8D]

Depreciation killed us when my wife totalled her 04 Trailblazer last year. We got a hell of a deal also with the GM supplier discount and rebates. Insurance paid only 20,000, we still owed 22,000 and didn't have gap. Even with the discounts and rebates, we still coudn't get pay off on the totalled trailblazer. After we paid the additional $2,000 to GM we turned around and bought another GM (Envoy) but paid for the gap insurance this time!
I sold a 95 Ram 1500 Sport last year with 70,000 miles on it for close to $6,000. Owed nothing on it so that money went down on my 02 1500 that I have now. After I can no longer find any other mods to put on or get bored with this one, it will sell locally also and I'll probably look at another truck a few years old. I've always made a profit on my sells by going this route...

for a diesel with that many miles, the engine is good and broken-in. if it is maintained it could easily go for another 350K
