Biggest tires for 20's
 

Hey everyone, I am new and have read the post about the tires but did not find any info about the 20's. Just the 17's. I'm at about 22k miles on the stocks and i'm so excited to get rid of them. I want to know the biggest tires i can fit on my stock suspension. Truck is a QC 2x4. THANKS

Most replies were about the Nitto Terra Grablers....Its a 305/55/20 tire. Now my question is can I go bigger or am I being to greedy on the stock suspension?

The best way would be to do some measuring yourself. Get under the truck with the wheels at full turn in both directions and also with the suspension compressed at full turn. Maybe turn the wheel and put a jack under the tire. Max out the suspension. I would look for not only tire clearance with the fender but also how much room you have against the A-Arms.

I did the on the 05 4x4 QC and I came up with 35 x 12.5's will fit nicely. I'm just waiting for my tires to wear out.

Im running 305 50 20's and they do rub on the sway bar and on the rear wheel well liner just a hair... I would not go much larger unless I had some spacers or a rim that displaced the wheel out 1/2 inch... But then you would look funny... so I would not exceed the 305 50 20's.... they are HUGE.

AIRRAM was the one who told me the 305/50/20 would fit and hes right I have zero rubbing on the front or rear. I'm still using the stock 20's and I went with the Nitto 420's.

Looks like I'm not the only one with the enormous tires...lol....305/50R20's on stock rims
