Was just wondering if anyone could tell me if 305/70/17 would work on a stock 8" rim,and on a stock 3500 ram srw...Looking to go to a more aggressive tire, just wamt to make sure it won't rub...thx for the info

on a 4x4 you might have a little rub, on a 4x2 you will rub. 295 is the largest tire I know of that does rub on 4x4's and 285 for 4x2's

From the factery, Ford GM and Dodge don't install tires any bigger than LT245 70 17, on one ton trucks, the reassoning is the smaller the tire, less mass to rotate, greater tow ratting ability, I'm not sure if you have dual rear wheels, if not than 285 to 305 70 17 will work just fine, if you have dual wheels, I don't know if you can up size.
