The axle shafts, housing and seal are identical on all 2500 Front axles, only the gearing, sway bar, locking diff are a power wagon exclusive, wiper motors are all the same.
The drive trian on my 06 2500 has been perfect, I have had minor issues with nutural safety switchs. ( cruse control )
You can't worry abought trival items, who knows how long the seal was sitting in a warehouse or if Paidro was drinking two much corona when wirring up the wiper motor..
I had a o4 f-150, rear axle shafts blew out at less than 5,000 KM, made a real mess of the brakes, so depending on the parts suplier, stuff happens..

Ramhunter1 my Wagon was Listed at 54k base model. Thats in Canadian dollars. After all the options I put in it it went up to 58999.99 and they sold it to me for 48500 out the door and after having it for 3 days the dealer called me back and asked for 7000 more dollars. And I said no. I bought it brand new. Wasnt a private sale. I should have waited a couple more months to buy it cause you can probably buy a new one for cheaper now with the economy the way it is. This is also my first dodge product Cyclone429. I hope this is the last issue I have for awhile cause i treat this truck like a baby.

I treat my my truck esp well, I wash it, talk to it, touch up every paint chip, talk to it and park in the back 40 at mall parking lots..
Now that my truck is retired from working construction, it will never ever see a job site again...
Dodge 2500s and the power wagon are soild trucks, back in 06 mine was 39 Grand cdn, so I do understand the $$$$ aspect of hic ups..
