If it is done on a truck that is clean and dry, there wont be any issue with water under the undercoating. Thats pretty hard to get water under a spray-on under coating. I will suggest you do it in the summer heat and it will be a fun and easy project.

That is true about getting it done when the weather is dry and make sure you steam wash or powerwash the underside before you get it done. Also wait till it's dry. Just remember , the warenty is only for three years ,and if you are keeping the truck for a lnger period of time , do it. I hope to keep mine till it falls apart, in about 20 years.

Mine was done for me before I even picked it up at the dealership. It was part of their protection package that they threw in for free for me. The did the undercoating and the rust inhibitor. I live in Alberta Canada though, so pretty much anyone who wants to keep their vehicle as much rust free as possible has it undercoated.

Performance aside, an undercoating just look good. I dont have it on my truck, but I love pulling up behind a big lifted truck that looks clean and black underneath vs rusted and brown.
