Default Installed Recon Cab Lights

So yesterday I finally got around to installing my Recon Cab Lights. Overall it wasnt hard, as long as you can measure and pay attention to detail then its an easy install. I started off measuring the roof and marking where the lights go. I followed an excellent write up i found on the internet. The worst part is when you start drilling holes in your nice new roof!! Anyways, heres the pictures and if anyone was thinkin about doing this install then id recommend it, I think they look great. Im waiting for my hella 500s in the mail for my next install..
I cant figure out how to get the PDF write up I used up on here if so if anyone wants it and cant find it on the net I can send it to you..

The lights look really sweet. I'd like to add some of those on my truck sometime, they always look sweet.

Glad to see you did them the right way. Two clearance and three markers.

It looks awful when they're all equally spaced.

I've seen some that you would hate. It was a jacked up Ford F350, the thing has about 12 of those lights on there. Maybe even more. Looks stupid with so many lights, evenly spaced also.

Big rigs can pull it off because their roof is huge. Pickup trucks, not so much.

No, this truck were it dropped down, debaged and all, would look just like an F150. It looks ridiculous. It's not like a semi, of course they can pull those lights off, this thing is like his x3. It was ridiculous. If you could see it, you would know what I'm talking about.

The installation docs that come with them and are on the Recon website was actually done by a former member here. The original DIY is in the FAQ section, but the pics were lost during a s/w upgrade here...

Here's a link to my post back in July of '07. It's no DIY worthy step by step guide but I do list the tools and my experience with installing cab lights. The info you want is on page 2. I hope it helps.

Oh BTW, DodgeThunder those lights look awesome on your truck, nice job.

Thanks guys. I like them alot, I got the lights off my brother, he bought them from recon last year and had them on his old F250 so we didnt have any instructions left. It wasnt that bad drilling the roof after the first hole its all good.. I like the recon stuff, next I want to get there LED taillights and 3rd brake light!! MXZREVMAN Ill send you the instructions I have.. Alot of pictures and very good instructions, especially how he explains the measurements. The only thing I wish I would have done was to get the stock wiring harness.. He explained how to make on in the instructions and I did it that way and soldered all the wires and used shrink tube.. It came out looking pretty clean!!
