Can't take it anymore!!! Please Help
 

I am sick of just seeing 6" lifts for our trucks, which by the way don't seem very high at all. In fact compared to a Ford, or Chevy, my eyesight seems to prove that the Ram seems to be the smallest.

Can someone please tell me who or how I can get something custom done. I would love to see 10 - 12" and not a 6" suspension with a 3" body lift. I finally seen one of those as well and it just wasn't enough.

Kills me...absolutely kills me....fighting mad to know that companies make so much for Ford/Chevy/Toyota...but the best truck on the road they just said forget about it.

I have called BNC Offroad and cannot ever get anyone on the phone. (They built a custom lift for a guy who put his 2X4 in Sema "Head Hunter") I have also contacted Rize. I have their 8" on my diesel, but they wanted $30,000 to R&D a lift for the 4th Gen Ram. Yep you read right folks $30k...yet what do you know the F-150 has a 8" lift.

I can find 10 - 12" lifts for Toyota even, but ole Dodge got left behind.

So please I am calling out to anyone out there who can provide a way I can get my wife's truck lifted higher than the traditional 6" and without LITERALLY causing me to file Bankruptcy

Nobody out there huh? There has to be similiar people out there thinking the same thing as me, wanting a bigger kit for their truck.

Sure wish there was a company that would take the plunge, roll the dice on getting a kit out for us - bet they would be surprised as to how many of us would jump onboard.

Not many people would jump on board with 1500s, an IFS truck simply can't support a lift much over 6" nor tires much over 35". Seen many a CV axle destroyed with just 37" tires and I'm not talking just Rams here. I've actually personally seen more Chevy trucks come in with broken CVs and front suspensions than any others. There is no solid axle to support the height or weight necessary to achieve that kind of lift height.

You want crazy high lift heights, you need to get you a SFA truck... Most 4x4/lift shops I've been at won't touch much more than 6" of suspension lift on an IFS truck.
If you are wanting 10" or more of lift, you simply bought the wrong truck. You'd need a 3/4 ton SFA, be it Ford, Chevy or Dodge...

Gotta agree with Hammer, there isnt a market for anything larger than 6" on a 1500. Rize is a pricey kit with a specialty market, they only had to make adjustments to get one ready for the F150. The 4th gen dodges are brand new. All new R&D
Companies have to balance how high the lift can go with how affordable it needs to be. You want taller? You need more money.
Regarding your height remarks for the dodge... I have a 6" BDS with 35's and i am higher than any Ford or Chevy with a 6" and 35's. I have done side by side and a few measurements. Crazy thing is that my truck will still fit 37's, which the other companies have trouble doing.

Could you post some pics, a few, of you with the truck and how tall you are? I called 2 companies last night and pretty much got my heart broken. Seems I can get a company to do a 12" for me, however, they will need the truck and sure didn't sound like he pitched idea to me all to well. So I guess its the 6" suspension and 3" body.

Last thing.....Can someone comment on advising whether to put a 1" or 2" spacer on the front? What would be some downfalls?

RIZE said they wanted 30,000 for R&D? You must have been rude. Because I e-mailed them and was offered a free lift if I would give them my truck for R&D. I would buy my own shocks and wheels of course but they would help me get the best price on that. I said hell yeah just have to make it back from Afghanistan first. Now everyone reading this is going to try and get their Ram's to RIZE before me.
