I bought just the wheels for $2100 brand new off of eBay. Then another $1400 for tires at a local tire shop. They don't make kmc slides in 28's which sucks cuz I really wanted 28's but couldn't find anything I liked.

Why such big wheels? Isn't the ride a nightmare with those things? Seems like you wouldn't be able to run over a sewer cap without your teeth falling out.

Yea it rides a little rougher but not as bad as I thought it would be. I guess it's not for everybody though. But my dodge is not my everyday truck. Jus somethin nice to take out on the weekends

That's cool. To each their own I guess. My truck is lowered, and I have been thinking about putting lower profile tires on it rather than the stock 33" tires it has on it now, but am afraid the ride will suffer. I drive my truck everyday and haul/tow with it too so I am undecided. Any opinions?

To be honest if I was using my truck to tow/haul I would keep all the sidewall I could. Depending on what ur towing. I know ur weight capacity on a low pro tire drops dramatically.
