if the speed limit is 62. DO 62. Nothing pisses me off more then when i come up to a car on the highway and they arent doing the posted speed. I often wish i had a old beater truck with a plow blade on the front and give the rear end a lil tap and remind them that they are impeding traffic.
As for the original question and some responses. Yes he has a valid point of asking on the fuel milage. Why would one not care. Everybodys whole oh if your driving a truck dont worry and if you are worried drive a prius is crap. Why cant people get the best of both worlds? If i had the option of two different trucks that were equally comparable and one gets 8mpg and the other 22mpg. its would seem to be quite the no brainer. at this point in technology we are not going to see 60mpg in the half ton truck. but its perfectly acceptable to hope that with the new technology we do have, that the fuel economy is getting better.

I just bought a new '13 RAM 5.7 CC 4x4 Sport 6 speed with the 3.55's. Just filled the tank for the first time after two weeks ownership (368 miles, begore breakin period), and thus far I'm averaging 17.22 mpg's, calculated by hand.
My average routine to and from work involves speed limits under 50 mph, with 50/50 highway/city. My previous '09 RAM Sport 5.7 CC 4x4 5 speed (traded @ 30,800 miles) averaged by hand with same routine was 15.2 mpg's.
Obviously the mileage does increase on road trips, I've seen as high of 18.5 mpg's on my '09 RAM, but the '13 RAM hit 19.2 mpg's on EVIC driving home on a 60 mile commute from the dealership. Needless to say, I'm impressed with the 6 speed thus far, considering both trucks are identical, minus the 5/6 speed difference.
Just thought I'd share some comparable stats.
