Another tire question
Hey guys My 2010 big horn cc finally needs new tires. The Goodyear HP's have finally worn out after55,000. This past snow storm in NY finally sealed it for me. I'm gonna stay on the stock size 275 60 20. I dont go off roading or beach or anything like that. Mainly highway/city with snow as my only obstacle. I'd like to have more of an aggressive look than the stock GY. I was looking at nitto terra grapplers and the cooper zeon ltz as well as the cooper AT3 Not looking to spend more than $225 p tire Thanks

Idk what they're worth down there but I run 90% highway and love my Goodyear Duratracs.
Quiet yet aggressive and a 70000km (50000mile)tread wear.
Great for the fire roads and gravel yet smooth and quiet on road.
I'm running a 33x12.5x15. Also don't seem to pick up the 3/4" road crush gravel as bad as some tires.

I had the Cooper LTZ's. While they were sporty looking, they werent all that good in the snow and they rode exceptionally rough. they probably wear faster than what you are looking for
I have the Cooper AT3's now. MUCH cheaper and softer ride too. Got them from one of our Sponsors-> Treaddepot.com for $155/tire plus shipping. Looks like they went up $2/per tire.
ANYTHING you buy will be better than the stock Suckyear HP's. Those things were terrible. I couldn't stand the 1600miles that I had them on. Squishy around turns, no wet traction. Only good was quiet ride on highway, but they floated and caused wander. First mod to my truck was new tires.
Just FYI. Cooper AT3's. Standard Load tires have 12.5/32nds vs E Load has 17/32nds Although E-Load is a bit more money(comparable to the LTZ)
Also, LTZ has no tread warranty. The AT3 has 55kmi.
Goodyear Silent Armors are $$$ and get noisey when they wear. My father had 2 sets. Exact same thing. Noisier the more they wear.
GoodYear AT/S is an awesome tire! Kinda pricey though.

The Silent Armour is an excellent choice. I had a set on a two wheel drive chevy. Worked most excellent.

Just left Mavis with cooper AT3's installed. They look good and hopefully they live up to the reviews. The guy at Mavis said these are awesome tires and that he has them on his truck!! Good price and good service. Definitely happy with my decision. Thank you guys here on the forum for the advice and input
