Now, here's some shots of the engine parts going into it:

What I don't have pictures of on photobucket are the w2 heads and tight lash solid flat tappet cam going into that block. It's actually built now, except for the oil pump and oil pan. It's a w2-headed 360. We think it'll make about 375 hp on the motor. The under-the-manifold fogger will bump that up some. Yes, the bench seats and column shifter will stay there, along with the mexican blankets in the back seat area. I already have an 8 3/4 A body housing and a gear chunk with 4.10's and a dana power lock limited slip unit. A set of subframe connectors and superstock springs/adjustable pinion snubber will round it out. I'd expect it to go low 12's on the motor and high 10's on the gas once I have it sorted out.
Anyway, the emblem on ebay is a bit hazy for a brand new truck. I'd like to get one someone has just had removed from an '09 if possible.

I doubt it. A 9" slick will be more than enough. That car will weigh about 3200 lbs ready to race, minus driver. A 9" slick can be fit up under the stock wheelwell with no trouble at all. I know firsthand how effective a set of super stock springs and an adjustable pinion snubber are. I had that setup in my old '74 duster and went 11.50's on an ET street dot tire. That car was not on the verge of spinning, either. It went 1.72's short times with too much cam and not enough converter. The best short time it produced was a 1.55, but that was on the nitrous before it was rebuilt with the forged pistons.

I have a 1971 Dart Swinger. It has a 318, 727, and 8 3/4 with 3.23's. Of course, it is in storage for another few years. I plan on 3.73's and a 40X or 41X stroker.
